untitled

the world's first 24 hour Internet art gallery

Dedicated to the development of electronic culture, Blank, held the world's first 24 hour Internet art gallery in a conventional gallery setting. Our aim was to broaden perceptions of Artspace and Cyberspace. Welcome to the on-line archive, experience the magic all over again.

The untitled gallery focused on a diverse selection of artwork from around the world and was continuously updated throughout its 24 hour lifetime with work from visiting artists

Twelve curators commented on the exhibits and provided themes of exploration - whilst twelve DJ's provided ambient support.

The curators were from various creative industries including Internet, art, publishing, music and dance.

Above are the people who were still standing after more than 24 hours at untitled. A synopsis of the event will follow. Thank you to all participants especially to the visiting artists.

Special thanks to fate as the only hardware casualty of the event was a mouse - after swapping monitor & SCSI leads almost continuously during the event.
